Whooping cough cases increase

Appointments may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. If the person you wish to see is not available, you will be offered an appointment with some-one else. Patients are able to book appointments via the internet, ask at reception for an internet access application form.

The practice is open till 7.30 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays each week.

Practice Nurses

The doctors are assisted by Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Phlebotomists. We have a fully equipped treatment room. Appointments may be made directly with the Nursing team and Health Care Assistants during the times shown below.

8.50 am to 11.45 am 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Book your appointments online

Before you can start booking GP appointments online (or order repeat prescriptions) you must first register your details for this service.

It is quick and easy to register. You will need to come into the surgery for an application form and then you will be given the relevant details to enable you to set up an account and use the system.

Once registered you will be able to view any appointments you have already made, cancel them if necessary, or book a new appointment with the doctor.

When you book an appointment online you will receive confirmation which you can print off and bring with you when you attend the surgery. There is no need to reconfirm

Patients are generally seen at the surgery, but between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.30 pm patients may be seen at home if the doctor considers a home visit necessary because of the patient’s medical condition. Please call the surgery as soon as possible if you believe a home visit may be necessary. When telephoning for an urgent home visit, please state clearly the nature of the emergency, your name, address and telephone number.

If you need advice, you may speak to your doctor by telephone. Contact the Surgery before 11 am to arrange a telephone call with your doctor.

Patients requiring non urgent medical advice may contact NHS Direct on 0845 4647. NHS Direct is available 24 hours a day.

Telephone the surgery between 10.30 and 6.00pm for results of any tests you may have had.

Please allow 4-5 working days before telephoning and for cervical smears allow 8 weeks. This is the normal time it takes for results to arrive back in the surgery.
